We say 'Yes' to Donkey Work!

Yes, you read it right. An aspect of our practical ministry is to offer a helping hand to widows and orphans in Ethiopia. We do this by supporting orphans to get an education and by providing food for widows through the work of Yemane Endale, our DPM representative in Ethiopia.

In July 2011 we supplied 50 ‘water donkeys’ for widows in remote areas. In Ethiopia donkeys are often used to fetch water from several kilometers away to bring it to a village. They can carry 50 litres of water in 2 large plastic containers secured to their backs.
