Dear Friend,

Vazgen Arseni, Director

When people hear names like Russia, Ukraine, or Iran, they often think of war, politics, or unrest. Yes, it is true that our regions have been deeply shaken. But amid all the upheaval, we are witnessing something extraordinary.

God is moving powerfully in the former Soviet Republics— and He is using the teachings of Derek Prince in ways we never expected.

Saved from Death

Last summer, I received a call from a man I had never met. His first words were urgent: “Are you the one translating Derek Prince’s videos into Armenian?” When I told him I was, he replied, “Then I must meet you today.”

When we met, he said, “I should be dead right now. But I’m alive—and I owe it to Derek Prince’s teaching.” Months earlier, he had been diagnosed with terminal cancer. Doctors had given up on him. He lay in a hospital bed, unable to eat or stand. Then, one night, as he was watching YouTube, he happened upon “Invisible Barriers to Healing.” In desperation, he watched this message. For the first time in his life, he heard Derek explain how unconfessed sin can block healing.

This man had never confessed his sins to anyone. “But what if this is the invisible barrier to my healing?” he thought. That night, he called a friend and poured out years of guilt, pride, and regret. After confessing, he fell into a deep sleep. The next morning, he could drink. Then he could eat. Then he could stand. The doctors couldn’t explain it. But this is what that man told them: “I confessed my sins, and now I am healed.”

After he shared this testimony with me, the man reached into his bag and handed me a donation: “Please translate more of Derek’s videos. People need this teaching.”

From One Life to Many

That same man later gave Shaping History Through Prayer and Fasting to an Orthodox priest. The priest was so impacted by the book that he ordered 500 copies to distribute among fellow priests. A whole denomination is now being touched by the truth of this message.

What is happening in Armenia is a picture of what God is doing all over the earth. The Lord reaches one… and through that one person, He reaches many. Today, over 60 of Derek’s video teachings have been translated into Armenian, with more than 8 million views in a country of less than 3 million people. Many of these viewers are not elderly church-goers. They are young people who are hungry for truth.

A Youth Revival in Motion

At first, we thought Derek’s teachings might be “too serious” for young people. We were wrong.

This year in Armenia, we began using his material in the youth conferences we are hosting—and something amazing has happened. So far, 500 young people have attended, including 70 teens from war-affected orphanages.

At one gathering, the Holy Spirit fell without any prompting. Those in attendance began speaking in tongues, weeping, and worshiping—for hours. Parents later called us, stunned: “My child is not the same.” Some of these young people deleted their social media accounts. Others testified of receiving deliverance from depression, addiction, and fear.

These new believers are now watching Derek’s teachings on YouTube. They are sharing videos, reaching their friends. Revival is beginning—and Derek’s teaching is a key component in grounding these young hearts in God’s Word.

What God Is Doing in Russia

May I speak to you now from my heart about the war in Russia? I believe what is happening is not only on the human level. There is a spiritual war happening as well.

Many Russian Christians live under growing restrictions. Churches are watched. Evangelism is censored. People are afraid. But Derek’s teaching—planted decades ago in the Soviet era—is still alive today. Since the 1980s, his voice has penetrated the Iron Curtain, offering truth where lies once ruled.

Now, through VPNs and back channels, hungry believers in Russia are finding his teachings on YouTube. Here is their message to us: “Thank you. We are being fed when no one else dares to speak.” Our Russian and Ukrainian channels have over 33,000 subscribers, with more than 355,000 hours of video watched this year alone. Above and beyond that response, Derek’s Russian videos on other channels have tens of millions of views.

In the midst of the bloody and tragic war between Russia and Ukraine—pitting brother against brother—Derek’s teachings are bringing forgiveness, reconciliation, and healing. It is vital that Derek continues to speak in Russian, especially now—bringing light and restoration into such a dark environment.

We must not turn away—and we will not.

Will You Stand with Us?

Maybe you can’t reach into Russia, or preach in Armenia, or speak directly to Ukrainian young people. But your gift can.

You can help us

• Translate one more sermon.

• Print one more book.

• Send one more teen to a life-changing conference.

• Reach one more soul in darkness.

You may not be able to change the whole world. But through your generosity, you can change one person. And that person can touch many others—just as it happened with the dying man I met.

What if your gift becomes the spark that ignites this whole region? We are not asking you to support a project. We are asking you to join a move of God, to stand with us as we reach the unreached and teach the untaught in our region of the world.

With deep gratitude,

Vazgen
