Another quarter has been reached. The days just seem to fly past this year, matrics are getting ready to write their exams soon. We just saw two of the staff members young adults write last year.
The Africa Call meeting we have every Monday afternoon for an hour is going well. It is good to hear what is happening in countries in Africa. Nigeria, Burundi, Rwanda, Kenya, Malawi, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Eswatini/Swaziland, Angola, Botswana, Namibia, Lesotho and Madagascar.
If you receive our prayer listing for each two-month period, you will read all these exciting testimonies not only in Africa but the Worldwide Derek Prince Ministry. You can get the Prayer list on our website. Do let me know if you are praying for the ministry. It is prayer as the foundation of Derek Prince Ministry that enables Derek’s teaching to be even more needed and effective in these days. We would not be able to print all the books, send them out to those who cannot afford them. Books that train pastors and leaders and Bible College students. The Mega Voice Solar player with 400 hours of Derek’s teaching including the 10 hours of Foundations series in various African languages and Portuguese, French and Afrikaans are included. South Africa KwaZulu Natal Prisons
From Pastor Ncube in Kwa Zulu Natal. “We have already done ten Christian libraries in different prisons in KZN and Westville Prison is the 11th Prison, one the huge prison in KZN. Next month hopefully we will proceed to Maritzburg where there are two prisons. God bless.

Angola Outreach
Three teams of outreach from a church in Pretoria went up to Angola in July. They had 5000 Portuguese Bibles donated to distribute. They visited 1000 churches. We were able to give them Portuguese Self Study Bible Courses and 3 USB with Derek’s Portuguese material. The people sing so beautifully and were very happy with the bibles. We gave everything to the pastors, and the USBs to Pastor Dominguez, he is the overseer. The trip had its challenges in getting diesel for the vehicles but praise the Lord, they made it over the long rough roads. Who knows what God can do with the SEED that has been sown in Angola.
Operation Mobilization in Angola
Wessel and Joan van der Merwe who have been missionaries there for 29 years.
50 A4 Self Study Bible Courses in Portuguese and 20 titles of Derek’s books in Portuguese will be sent to Angola. Wessel has assisted to get the books to Angola in small quantities at a time. A box of Portuguese Bibles will also be going with the books. We thank the Lord for the donor that made this possible. It is always a challenge of how to get the books into the African countries. The Lord has been faithful.
Missionary Work in Angola
- Relocation and Base: Moved to Luanda in 2002 before settling long-term in Menongue, Angola.
- Community and Economic Projects: Involved in grassroots projects, including helping local San (Boesman) families build sustainable economic communities and improve living conditions.
- Ministry Focus: Partnering with Operation Mobilisation to foster relationships, support local believers, and meet practical community needs in the region.
- *Experienced WISP and solar power team needed for a 2 week project in Angola (August 2026). *
- We are assembling a team to install four 9 metre towers on a farm near Menongue.
- At least two team members must have solid experience in WISP infrastructure and solar power systems.
- Wessel and Joan van der Merwe have served as missionaries in Angola for 29 years. This project aims to help a group of San (Boesman) families establish themselves as a sustainable economic community and improve their living conditions. Joining the team is not only technical work — it is a life changing experience.

Portuguese books for Angola and Mozambique.
There are 20 Portuguese book titles. We have printed 12 titles that were distribted in Angola to ministries.
Ina is busy preparing the remaining 6 books to get samples printed before printing the books. These books will be sent to Angola and Mozambique. If you know of any ministry who will be travelling to Mozambique and have space in their vehicle will you please let me know.
There is such a demand for the Portuguese book for Angola and Mozambique for ministry training. (Operation Mobilization are training 50 leaders in Angola). Mozambique were requesting 9000 Portuguse books for YWAM, OM, MAF and pastors. One can see how big the need is for Derek’s Bible teaching to train leaders in these nations. Both Angola and Mozambique have come through years of war situations involving communism.
One set of 20 books will cost R1,147.00 Cost to print 50 sets R57,354.50 100 sets R114,709.00. We are suggesting the ministries set up libraries. One request was for 40 sets of the books!! One country requested 9000 books!! The need is so great as there are almost no Christian Books in Portuguese. One ministry is training 50 leaders.
We have been working for years with these ministries, Operation Mobilization, YWAM (Youth with a Mission) Iris Ministries – Heidi Baker and 25 Pastors that Evang. Ricky van der Walt trained in Angola in the healing and deliverance ministry, and other Bible schools.

Botswana Life's Changing Spiritual Power 6 Compendium Book
This project took many years with many challenges to complete. We thank the Lord that the book is in print now and available to the Tshwane speaking people. We know it will have an impact in their lives and will bear fruit for His Kingdom in Botswana. Thato worked for DPMSA for a number of years and faithfully persevered to assist with the editing and some translation work as well. We are very grateful to her for her faithfulness that made this possible. The 2nd printing is already to be sent to Botwsana in October with SIM (Sudan Interior Ministry) they kindly offered to take the books and Tshwane Bibles to Thato in Botswana.

Today, BIRRO was deeply honoured to receive a generous donation of Christian books by **Derek Prince**, renowned for presenting Biblical truths in a clear, practical and easy-to-understand way.

Shamar Clinic - SA's First Christ Center's Mental Health Hospital
Going to the hospital is scary at the best of times; imagine being checked in because of your mental health. The fear and anxiety of the unknown. Shamar in Hebrew means "guarding of one's heart" & "shielding of something immensely valuable." That is the heart behind Shamar Mental Health Clinic. I will be interviewing the founder of Shamar Clinic. It is an incredible story of obedience, overcoming, attack, perseverance and immense faith. You really DO NOT want to miss it.

Kuwait - Bibles
A box of 16 English Bibles was given to a SA teacher working in Kuwait. He leaves to go back tomorrow. We gave him the Self Study Bible Course and The Power in the Name and other English titles as well. His wife is a preschool teacher. He was so excited he wanted to take back 18 bibles he bought 4 already. Just phoned and we just happened to have them. He is keen to do the online course. I gave him Albert and DPM EGYPT website details. Pat and Gerald Goldbeck who started MET (Missionary Exposure Training) here are pastoring a church in Kuwait. They are Canadian and love Derek’s teaching. He is going to contact them when he gets back and pass on the information to his friends. He first came across Derek's teaching while teaching in Malaysia!!

Pastor Hampie stopped off at Jennette and Pieter Visser in Struisbaai to pray for Pieter who suffers from back pain. Jennette does the Finances for Derek Prince Ministries SA. She was so pleased that Ps. Stemmet had stopped off to pray for Pieter. Jennette is involved with various Bible Study groups in the community and promotes Derek’s material. Jennette also is responsible for Derek Prince Ministries Facebook page.

21/06/26 Pastor Hampie visited Ursula and Klause. Just outside Calitzdorp. They are from German/Swiss descent. They run a dried fruit factory and employ the local coloured people to give them employment. They also feed and educate 300 underprivileged coloured children. Klaus is busy building a primary school for them so the can have a good education. Klaus and Ursula apply the Declaration Cards every day up to 20 per day with the workers and children. They have translated 70+ cards into Afrikaans as that is the home language mostly spoken in the Cape and educated in Afrikaans. Pastor Hampie had a wonderful time of fellowship with them. He said the buildings and facilities are of a very high standard.
