The Kingdom of Lesotho is a unique enclave, completely landlocked by South Africa. The main languages spoken are South Sotho (Sesotho) and English.
Our Outreach Efforts
In an effort to spread our teachings in Lesotho, a set of South Sotho Foundations DVDs was dispatched to a dedicated doctor who conducts outreach activities in the region. Despite the country's challenging terrain and inaccessibility, the doctor journeyed via a MAF plane and completed the trip on a Lesotho pony to deliver Derek’s bible teaching to the people.
Supporting Local Communities
A devoted German missionary family, residing in Lesotho, plays a significant role in the spiritual and economic life of the locals. They've been instrumental in establishing village churches, providing food assistance, and imparting essential farming principles to the community.
However, their noble mission often meets opposition from local witchdoctors. Despite these obstacles, the family draws encouragement and strength from Derek’s teachings. To further bolster their resolve, we have supplied them with German-language material, demonstrating our commitment to their cause and the people of Lesotho.
