Located on our North Eastern border, Namibia shares close ties with South Africa. The country acknowledges English as its official language while Afrikaans, German, and Oshiwambo are widely spoken among its 13 recognized languages, reflecting Namibia's diverse cultural history.
Reach and Distribution of Derek's Teachings
We've maintained a strong relationship with the Namibian communities, notably the English, Afrikaans, and German speakers. The Revive Us Christian Bookshop, based in the capital city of Windhoek, regularly places substantial orders for Derek's books, approximately twice a year. This robust demand attests to the long-standing distribution of Derek's material in the country.
In Swakopmunt, a coastal town, a local Christian Radio Station broadcasts Derek's teachings, further broadening our reach within the country. A pastor in Walvis Bay, another coastal city, expresses great appreciation for Derek's teachings. To support his ministry, we've provided him with the Afrikaans Foundation book, DVD sets, and the Self Study Bible Course.
Mega Voice Player Project
Our engagement in Namibia also includes the Mega Voice Player Project, an initiative aimed at enhancing accessibility to Derek's teachings. The project has seen successful distribution to six Operation Mobilization bases and two YWAM bases, reinforcing our commitment to fostering spiritual growth across the nation.
