Our team recently returned to the Pailin province carrying a fresh batch of Derek Prince Ministries (DPM) teaching materials for a dedicated pastors’ seminar. The journey began with a long seven-hour drive from Phnom Penh, but God blessed us with refreshing, lush green scenery along the way, making the travel a peaceful and encouraging time for our team.
We arrived in Pailin just before dusk and hurried to find dinner before the local eateries closed for the night. We decided to try a unique regional dish featuring a special mountain plant native to the Pailin hills. Known locally for its health benefits, its flavor was strikingly intense—tasting remarkably like Tiger Balm! It genuinely felt like eating herbal medicine, making for a memorable and laughter-filled dinner experience. Afterward, we checked into our guesthouse, finalized our teaching outlines, and got a restful night of sleep to prepare for the days ahead.
The next morning, we were deeply moved to see 49 pastors gather for the seminar. The Pailin Provincial Pastors’ Council arranged for us to host the event at one of the largest churches in the province, for which we were extremely grateful. Many of these servant-leaders made incredible sacrifices to attend, including several who drove two hours by motorbike in the early morning cold just to join us.
We opened the gathering with joyful praise and worship before diving into four foundational DPM book titles:
- Faith and Works – Understanding how daily labor aligns with God’s purpose.
- Authority and Power of God's Word – Anchoring ministry in the truth of Scripture.
- The Resurrection of the Body – Gaining hope and clarity on eternal life.
- Founded on the Rock – Building strong, unshakeable spiritual foundations.
The heart of the seminar was the interactive small group discussions. Local pastors eagerly engaged with the materials, asking thoughtful questions, sharing personal testimonies, and presenting key insights back to the whole group. Seeing their passion to grow in God’s Word and shepherd their congregations was a profound blessing. Thank you for your continued prayers and support, which make it possible to equip these faithful leaders across Cambodia!

Testimonial
My name is Pastor Sim Souphea, and I serve the Lord in Qang Yong, Pailin Province, Cambodia. I thank God for the wonderful opportunity to attend the Derek Prince Ministries-Cambodia seminar. It was a great blessing to learn from God’s Word, receive biblical teaching, and fellowship with other believers.
During the seminar, we were introduced to four books, and I was especially drawn to Faith and Works. Before attending this seminar, I didn’t clearly understand the relationship between faith and works, and I believe many Christians may struggle with the same question.
Through this teaching, God helped me understand this truth more clearly: we are saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone, not by our works. Good works do not earn our salvation; rather, they are the fruit of genuine faith and the way we express our love for God and bless the lives of others.
This teaching has strengthened my understanding of the Gospel and given me a clearer foundation for my faith. I am excited to take what I have learned and share it with my church, helping others understand the true foundation of salvation and the purpose of good works in the Christian life.
I am also very thankful to have received additional books from Derek Prince Ministries. I look forward to studying them, growing deeper in God’s Word, and applying these teachings in my personal life and ministry.
My sincere gratitude goes to Derek Prince Ministries-Cambodia for faithfully investing in the spiritual growth of believers and making biblical teaching accessible to the Church. May the Lord continue to use this ministry to strengthen pastors, equip churches, and transform lives throughout Cambodia.
