The Netherlands

The Netherlands has a rich Christian history but is no longer predominantly a Christian nation. With a population of 17 million, there are about 600,000 evangelical Christians. Statistics show that only 4 out of 10 Dutch citizens consider themselves religious, belonging mostly to reformed or Catholic churches. While the number of Muslims and followers of other religions is increasing slightly, atheism is growing much faster.

There is a significant need for spiritual renewal in the Netherlands. Liberal theology has taken root, and some churches even have pastors who no longer believe in God. Many Christians are unfamiliar with God's word or unsure how to apply it in their lives. They often feel inadequate in explaining their faith, resulting in a younger generation and immigrants not hearing the transformative message of the gospel. Despite this, there is an openness among youth and immigrants, who are disillusioned with materialism and searching for identity and spiritual fulfillment.

DPM Netherlands addresses these needs by strengthening Christians through the translation and distribution of Derek Prince's Bible teachings. We make these resources available in books, free educational letters, and daily devotionals. We also partner with networks for immigrant churches to provide them with Bible teaching in their heart languages. Additionally, we leverage YouTube and online courses to help Christians deepen their faith and strengthen their testimony, ensuring that the life-changing gospel reaches the next generation and new arrivals in the country.
