In 2002, the future director of the outreach had a vision to bring Derek Prince Ministries to Armenia with the assistance of a young man by the name of Vazgen Zohrabyan. At the time, Derek Prince’s books were yet to be translated into Armenian, adding weight to the difficulty of the task.
Decades later, the teachings of Derek Prince have been widely distributed across the former Soviet Union and are available in a broad range of local dialects.
Derek Prince is one of the most renowned and well-respected Bible teachers in Armenia. More than forty of his books have been translated into the local language and they remain the bestselling Christian literature in the country.
Derek’s video messages have been collectively viewed millions of times online, and few would dispute the influence of his teachings particularly among evangelical leaders.
With more than twenty books translated, printed and distributed in Turkey and Iran, the fruits of our Armenian based ministry has spread across the region. Today, it is responsible for ongoing outreach activity throughout the former Soviet Union, bringing the truth and power of God’s Word to a new generation of believers.
Among them, a woman recently converted from Islam to Christianity after contemplating suicide. An angel appeared to her in a dream and told her not to take that step as God had a gift for her. The following day, she dedicated her life to Christ after meeting with our team who blessed her with Derek’s books, prayer, and much encouragement.
Our outreach is additionally helping victims of the recent Karabakh War with food, humanitarian aid, and spiritual support. Derek Prince’s teachings are not only changing lives but shaping a new history among nations.
