You only have two options. You can live like a slave or you can live like a king. If you’ve been redeemed through Jesus Christ, God’s purpose is for you to live like a king. But if you don’t live up to that purpose you will continue to live like a slave. There are many children of God whose destiny is to be kings who are still living like slaves. They haven’t been renewed in their minds, they haven’t made the personal commitment and surrender which opens up the way. And although potentially they are kings, theologically they are kings, experientially they’re living like slaves.
