Satan attacks most of the Lord’s servants in this way at one time or another, he attacks God’s people with human tongues. It’s very, very important that we respond the way Scripture directs. As a matter of fact, Jesus Himself particularly speaks about this problem. He says this, “Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you, and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of Me. Rejoice and be glad because great is your reward in heaven. For in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you.” So you see those enemies of yours are really doing you a favor. They are piling up a reward for you in heaven. Don’t try to stop them. Just let them go on because the longer they go on the greater your reward in heaven.
