The average “born again Christian” spends sixty-eight minutes a week reading the Bible, three hours a day watching television. That is not taking your calling seriously, brothers. I’ve told Christians many places, if you want a real dramatic or radical change in your life, if you want to be much more spiritual than you are, I’ll tell you how to do it. Just exchange two things: the amount of time you spend in front of the television and the amount of time you spend with the Bible. Change them over and you will be astonished how spiritual you’ll be. But don’t sow to the flesh and expect to reap from the spirit, because it doesn’t happen. Whatever we sow we reap.
