In my opinion, stay away from theology. I don’t think we’re required to make a system out of the Bible. We’re required to find out what it teaches and live that way. You know why we make theology, because it’s too simple. We have to find a way round to explaining the simple commandments of the Bible. “Bless those who persecute you.” That’s not difficult to understand. There’s no complication in the message. The complication comes in our crooked human nature.
