Equipping Christians in China with Derek's Bible Teaching

As you read this letter, storm winds are blowing through the Lord’s house in China, and through His church.

Christians are facing severe persecution. Church leaders are being arrested... simply for teaching God’s Word. Church buildings are being closed, even destroyed.

This is what Pastor Chen said to our DPM China team:

“I woke up one morning to discover that our church’s second WeChat channel had been permanently shut down by the Chinese government. This happened less than a month after the removal of our first channel. Hundreds of thousands of our followers lost access to Bible teaching overnight.”

WeChat is the most widely used app in China. Hundreds of millions of Chinese people use it daily. Also, many churches, like Pastor Chen’s, use WeChat to teach God’s Word and to strengthen the church.

Now, because of the government’s censorship activities pastors like Chen, and millions of Chinese Christians they serve, are unable to access Bible teaching materials on WeChat.

That’s why I am writing to you to ask if you could help today please.

Could you help provide Bible teaching by Derek Prince for pastors like Chen so they can teach their scattered congregations and help them to find strength in God during the storm?

Sadly, every blast of the storm that China’s leadership is creating is part of a deliberate and coordinated plan. In 2018 China introduced new Regulations on Religious Affairs banning any “unauthorised” religious teaching not permitted by the government.

Then, last March, Christians were prohibited from posting any Christian materials online - unless they had permission from the authorities, which is highly unlikely to happen. I believe that more laws will be passed and more freedoms to worship will be curbed in the future. That is why we at DPM are doing all we can now to help Christians in China to find shelter in God’s Word and to stand firm in Jesus.
