Psalm 69:30 says:

I will praise the name of God with a song, And will magnify Him with thanksgiving.

A Proclamation

“Comfort, comfort my people,” says your God. “Speak tenderly to Jerusalem and proclaim to her that her hard service has been completed, that her sin has been paid for.”¹

On that day they will say to Jerusalem: “Do not fear, O Zion; do not let your hands hang limp. The Lord your God is with you, He is mighty to save, He will take great delight in you, He will quiet you with his love, He will rejoice over you with singing.”²

Burst into songs of joy together, you ruins of Jerusalem, for the Lord has comforted his people, He has redeemed Jerusalem.³

How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of those who bring good news, who proclaim peace, who bring good tidings, who proclaim salvation, who say to Zion: “Your God reigns!”

Listen! Your watchmen lift up their voices, together they shout for joy. When the Lord returns to Zion, they will see it with their own eyes.⁴

“For I am God, and not man, the Holy One among you. I will not come in wrath.”⁵

The Lord will again comfort Zion, and choose Jerusalem.⁶
